My mom raised me to be completely health conscious and i intend to pass that down to Gracie….This is the first time in my life that i’ve honestly felt ok about my body image…i’ve given up completely on LOWFAT AND NO SUGAR…and i’m just trying to eat way less processed foods and more whole foods….
I love food….LOVE LOVE LOVE…and i have the appetite of a horse…my father in law told me once “Chani, i’ve never seen a girl who can eat as much as you” ~thanks i guess! You know what i love second behind food…COOKING…so this blog has been such a fun and amazing adventure for me! A few people have asked me…..”Are you gaining weight from all your recipes” No, seriously, I’m not….i try to keep everything light… and if it’s not light…i practice PORTION CONTROL…but trust me….as much as i’m trying to love myself completely…i hate swimsuit season! WORST THING EVER!
One thing i can guarentee you…. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER give up dessert….i dream of dessert...well, i dream of food….but mostly dessert!
(you’ll probably get really sick of seeing this picture…i love it….one of the prettiest things i’ve ever created (other than my Gracie Noodle)
see….there’s really no comparison! she is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever made…hands down!
Speaking of Grace….she is a child who comes home from school FAMISHED…..so it takes a lot of time and energy to find good and healthy snacks to feed her…but to me…it’s totally worth that time and energy. Today, i found a great snack for her…..heck…a great snack for us!

and we all enjoyed this variation of princess drinks
all you need is Root Beer, (we used White Rock Root Beer and it was AWESOME),half and half and whipped cream…tastes like your drinking a rootbeer float…..
gracie and i served jerime the short starbucks one….and we nya nya nya nya nya nya-d at him….because in this family…everything seems to be a competion….It doesn’t matter if you win or lose…..scratch that…not in this house!!! Winning is EVERY opportunity to run around the house, hands in the air, screaming like a moron…so loudly that HE knows you beat HIM…it’s a constant Girls vs. Boys in this household….and if you listen closely…you can hear Gracie and I chanting “GIRLS ROCK…AND BOYS EAT SOCKS”
