Don’t Cry over Spilled Bubbles~a homemade bubble solution

Springtime means playing outside, basking in the sun, playing fetch with your puppies, and of course BLOWING BUBBLES….

as i was painting~ a cute little girl came into the kitchen with a wavering bottom lip….her last bottle of bubbles accidentally got knocked over…what was she to do? well, i thought to myself, i made homemade laundry detergent about 2 months ago…..why wouldn’t i be able to make some homemade bubbles? so that is exactly what i did…mommy saves the day again…..this is what i used….

  • 1/2 cup Dawn dishsoap
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tsps of sugar
  • and some red food coloring to make bubbles purple

a 5 minute fix……after all….little girls are just sass and bubbles

Never would have thought of sugar in a bubble mixture … have to try that one!!
Here’s another homemade recipe for you …
2 cups water to 1 cup diswashing liquid to 1 teaspoon glycerin
I tried one once that had unflavored gelatin in it, too, and it got hard as a rock if you didn’t use all of it the first go-round!! Never again on that one!!!
    Bubbles Rule!!!
